Margot needed a webshop that reflected the care and individuality of her handmade vases. The site had to feel personal and inviting, while remaining clean and functional. Because each piece varies in color, shape and pattern, the challenge was creating a visual system that supported that variety without making the site feel chaotic. I started by offering a few palette directions, and we landed on a mix of soft pinks and dark reds that matched the warmth she wanted. The layout is straightforward, with rounded boxes and generous spacing to create flow. To give the design more personality, I used subtle background textures based on elements from her own artwork. The shop pages are deliberately minimal, keeping attention on the product.

The project started with visual exploration and palette testing. Once a direction was chosen, I built out the structure using repeating patterns and simple layouts to support the artwork. The rest of the process focused on refining usability and making sure the webshop was easy to navigate.
