Goal
Repuation Building
Elsden Clinics needed a site that introduced their new location while reinforcing their reputation as experienced professionals in addiction therapy. The design had to balance clarity with warmth, present a large amount of information without becoming overwhelming, and reflect the identity of the physical building in Assen. I focused on creating a calm and distraction-free layout with a muted yellow-orange color palette and clean typography. To ground the experience locally, I sourced public domain paintings from a regional artist—some even featuring the building itself—and wove them subtly into the design. The result is a site that feels personal, thoughtful, and professional without being clinical or cold.
Impressions

Process
After initial research and discussions, I developed early layout sketches and moodboards focused on tone and structure. When the concept of using historical artwork emerged, I built the visual theme around it, tying in the building’s history with the overall calm feel the client wanted. Through regular feedback loops, I refined each section of the site: from intake forms to blog layout, making sure content stayed accessible and the design stayed grounded in trust and expertise.
